Orig. published in 1943, this is a reprint from Bonanza Books from the early 1970s (no date in book), SIGNED with a personalized inscription by the Author, New Orleans, 1971. Green cloth-covered boards lettered in black to spine, this hardcover small 8vo is in Near Fine condition, just slightly less crisp than Brand New! Completely clean & bright, binding straight & strong, pages white with a whisper of tanning to edges. Only flaws are split to gutter at half title page & very light smudges to exterior lower page edges. The unclipped DJ is VG+, bright & colorful, marred only by light chipping at corners & rubbing along flap folds; nicely protected in new mylar cover Free!
