London, 1984. Hard Cover. Signed by Author. (London: The Magic Circle 1984). SIGNED LIMITED EDITION. Printed in an edition of 500 copies of which numbers 1 to 25 comprise a "de luxe" edition bound in leather and signed by the author this being # 19. Publisher's brown leather lettered in gilt to the spine. With the bookplate of frank Koval to the front paste-down. Additionally inscribed by the Author to the front free end-paper: "To Frank Koval/ good friend and fellow/ magical historian/ With warmest regards/ Edwin A. Dawes/ 26 February 1984/ Blackpool". NB: The de luxe edition was not published in a dustwrapper. Scarce with these attributes. Photographs/scans available upon request.
