Frederick Warne & Co., 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No edition remarks. 454 pages. No dust jacket. Decorated red cloth. Contains black and white illustrated plates. Half-title page is assumed to have been removed. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Occasional thumb-marking present. Faint brown marking to some pages, text remains readable. Cracking to front hinge with exposed binding, causing board to be loose. Light scuffing to text-block edges. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with slight fraying to cloth. Light tanning to spine and edges. Scuffing and light white marking overall. Book has a slight forward lean.
