About This Item

Has an inscription to Maj. McCaun?, from M. L. Scaudaris? (see picture) dated Aug. 19, 1874. Title page is missing, with the dedication page being the 1st page. Remaining pages are present, tight, have occasional spots, marks, but would be considered average. The condition of the cover is atrocious. This edition is of such rarity that it is probably worth a collector having an orange cloth facsimile cover made, just for appearance.
