About This Item
Edinburgh: W Green & Son, 1930. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Eight further cases come under Roughead's eloquent consideration. Foreword by Hugh Walpole preceded by charming note to J B Priestly apologising for "the perversion of your title" (Good Companions). Nine illustrations. Stock lightly toned, but otherwise all in good internal order, with only very occasional spotting. Former owner's signature neatly to fep. Brown boards with gilt titling rather abused, with traces of a ring mark visible to front and heavy wear to top of spine. 8vo. xiii, 301pp + publisher's ad.

About Dodman Books
Formerly Journobooks, my original speciality was books about journalism, journalists, newspapers and other media (hence the name) and I still have a good stock of hard-to-find books in that field. Over time I have added a wide and eclectic variety of other collectible volumes alongside a general secondhand stock. I am a collector as well as a seller so know all about the pitfalls of online buying as well as the joys. I will try to make your buying experience as easy and as pleasant as possible.
