The second interlude in the Forsyte Saga, a novel about an upper-middle class British family. This story is of the son, Jon (Jolyon) who is 8 years old. He is loved and pampered, with an idyllic childhood. The British author, Galsworthy (1867-1933), won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1932.
