Binding tight. Pages lightly aged but otherwise unmarked with some light occasional spotting. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks. [From back cover] Frank Wootton's aviation art career began in 1940, while awaiting call-up to the RAF. Some time later he became a full-time war artist and his brilliant coverage of the war in Northwest Europe and the Far East brought him world-wide fame. Today, he still maintains an active interest in both the RAF and USAF, and his unique position as the foremost aviation artist of the day. Technically superb in their treatment of wood, canvas and metal, his aircraft paintings owe their magnificent feeling of space to his conviction that the most important thing about an aircraft is the sky in which it flies.
