Hutchinson, London, 1987. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good/Good. Brown coloured boards with gilt coloured titles the back strip. Photographic dustwrapper with yellow and brown coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the back strip. The author has taken a conventional faction story, of an attempt to assassinate Lenin in 1918, and made into an excellent novel of character, well and passionately told. Bumping of the lower book corners with rubbing of the book edges. Very light age toning of the text block edges and pages. Fading of the back strip the little rubbing of the edges and panels.
