Brown cloth boards a touch edge-worn, most notably rubbed on corners, slight water-damage in top right of front board, small split at head of spine; Pages lightly age-toned, a touch spotted on edges and on endpapers, previous owner's signature and two prior bookplates on front pastedown, slight surface loss toward edges of both front and rear pastedown due to removal of prior adhesive film, B&W plates w/ tissue guards; Binding tight. This volume documents techniques for tatting, a particularly durable style of lacework made up of a series of loops and knots, over 54 collotype plates.
