Hardcover. 305 p, 558 p. Gray cloth with red title plate on spine. Corners are slightly bumped, some light discoloration on title plate on spine. Page edges and endpapers of Autumn of Glory are foxed. Renumbering and underlining of page numbers by previous owner occurs on the contents, introduction, and first few pages of both volumes and resumes in the index of Army of the Heartland. Strong "Old book smell" is present. Dust jackets are price clipped on top and bottom corners, and foxed on the interior. There is some light discoloration on the exterior and soiling of the white portion. The top edge of both jackets has been trimmed slightly unevenly. Previous description applies to both volumes. Army of the Heartland has the dedication taped onto the copyright page and an illustration taped in on an endpaper. Condition GOOD-, book and dust jacket. Sold as a two volume set, published as companion volumes. Army of the Heartland: The Army of Tennessee, 1861-1862, Autumn of Glory; The Army of Tennessee 1862-1865. July Box 3
