New York: William Morrow & Company. Good+ with no dust jacket. 1941. First Edition. Hardcover. SIGNED and inscibed by the author on the front free end paper. S. L. A. Marshall (1900-1977) was a Brigadier General, served in World War I, and was a military historian and journalist. "The Russian campaign gives the picture of battles to come--with the tank and the airplane determining factors." Illustrated with maps. Original bworn cloth cover with red spine and cover lettering. The front cover has some smudging to the lower right corner, the spine has some wear and smudging, else this is a clean, tight copy. No indication of printing, therefore a first edition according to Morrow's statements on identifying first editions of their books from this period. ; Maps; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 251 pages; Signed by Author .
