Small, thick 4to, pp. xvi, 723, [2]; color frontispiece, profusely illustrated throughout;original green pebbled cloth, spine and upper cover pictorially gilt, photographic endpapers; spine ends a bit rubbed, old name in ink on front free endpaper, very few ink notations in the margins, still, overall near fine. Checklist of the birds of Southeastern Arizona laid in. The illustrations include paintings by Allan Brooks, George Miksch Sutton, Roger Tory Peterson and Terrence Michael Shortt; the pen sketches are by Sutton, Brooks and Edwin Richard Kalmbach; the photographs are by Karl H. Maslowski, Ed N. Harrison, the author and others.
