The First Edition, xvi,415p. with 54 plates and illustrations from photographs & 125 text illustrations, appendices, original blind decorated green cloth, gilt spine and cover titles, a fine copy. A.B. 15779. The author's trip down the Athabaska and Slave Rivers, by Great Slave Lake, northeast to the Aylmer and Clinton-Colden Lakes regions of the barren grounds. Observations on the natural history appear throughout. The first London edition was in 1912.
