About This Item
Wm. Helburn, 1890. 1st Edition . Soft cover. Good. A portfolio of loose plates (as issued), approx 16" X 13". There are 49 consecutively-numbered plates, with the last 3 plates missing. Images are cleanly printed with fine detail. There is no publisher or date listed -- but the 5 copies held in University/museum libraries list Helburn as publisher with varying dates. This copy has the sticker of NYC bookseller "Paul Wenzel" on title page. The plates are gathered in a modern cardboard folder. The title page and first/last few pages have significant edge chipping. Most plates have light dampstaining in margins (not affecting images). This volume will require additional shipping because of its size.
