About This Item
Volume one of Potter's Antiquities, containing "The Civil Governance of Athens" and "The Religion of Greece." This is a fascinating edition from 1751, including engravings. This volume is in fair condition. There is significant damage to the leather covering the front board and the spine, and there is staining from what would appear to have been a now missing decoration on the front and back cover. There is also damage to the spine, and cracking to the hinges. Other than age-related staining however, the interior of the book is in excellent shape and the binding is tight.
