Contemporary half cloth (discoloured; top of rear joint slightly worn), spine gilt lettered (faded). With 2 engraved title-pages and 2 wood engraved portraits (Herman Boerhaave & J.B. van Helmont). Quite rare. The portrait of Boerhaave engraved by Hendricks after H. Brown seems not to be described elswhere (Burgess, etc.). -- Encyclopédie Populaire Série 6.
