Cambridge: J. Hayes, 1693. First English edition. Leather Bound. Good. 320 p. 20 cm. Full leather. Front board chipped near spine, and nearly detached. Spine cracked with chipped ends. Thumbing and a few stains. Page 79 has some marginalia.
The author, in addition to his writings on theology, founded the Ashford Grammar School, still in operation today. It is one of very few schools to maintain a continuous association with its founder, and one of the Governors today is a direct descendant.
