Indianapolis: Bobbs-Merrill Company Book. Good. Hardcover. (1913), 357pp, illustrated by R. M. Crosby. Small split at the top of the spine, extremities lightly worn, occasional foxing, else G. The author, (1872-1924), was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. You don't hear much about this book, probably because it had so much to live up to. The author's previous book THE MELTING OF MOLLY, published one year before, was the best selling book in America for eight months and was produced as a play and a motion picture..
