Philadelphia, PA: P. W. Ziegler & Co., 1889 Good Plus condition. Original binding with 3/4 leather and brown cloth. Gilt spine and cover lettering still bold. Moderate wear on corners and edges, small chip in leather at top of spine and small tear in leather at top of front hinge. Leather hinges are worn and weakening but otherwise binding remains strong. No loose pages New end sheets added. Occasional small smudges are present, but no foxing. Content is generally clean and unmarked throughout. Pages have lightly toned with age but are not brittle. 78 black and white illustrations. Index. Because of size and weight, priority or international orders will have significant extra charges.
