About This Item
Albert Spalding - Albert Spalding Plays
Label: Allegro Elite - 4118
Format: Vinyl, LP, 10", Album
Country: United States
Release Date: 1956
Genre: Classical
Style: Classical
Media Condition: Near Mint Minus (NM-). Vinyl is glossy. Labels have no spindle trails. Side A has three needle drops and some sleeve scuffing. All superficial and confirmed with play testing. Side B is clean. Maybe a VG+ Side A and a NM Side B. Like most Allegro records of this vintage, an inherently noisy pressing, due to the quality of the vinyl, although the background crackle doesn't overwhelm the music.
Sleeve Condition: Very Good Plus (VG+). Light ring wear. Almost no edge wear. Light abrasion at each corner but no bumps. Not much wear at the mouth. There is a strip of yellow and strip of blue tape to the lower right of the spine. This was obviously not intended to arrest a seam split. Rather, if you saw the rest of the collection this record came from, this was the previous owner's color code for string music.
