About This Item
New York: Random House, 1933. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. A comedy in four acts, first performed in 1933. Perhaps the most atypical of the author's works, the play presents a sentimental tale of youthful indiscretion in a turn-of-the-century New England town. Original blue cloth binding, with gilt stamping. Bookplate and a tiny ink date to the front pastedown. The dust jacket is browned along the extremities, with some shallow chipping and a closed tear to the top edge; otherwise very good.
