Account of the Battle of Agincourt, set against a portrait of the age and the circumstances behind events on an October day in 1415. 460pp with index, illustrated with 16 pages of colour plates and a black and white map. Silver lettering to spine, decorated endpapers. Slight forward lean to spine and minor age-toning to edges, otherwise near fine copy with no inscriptions. Unclipped DJ has minimal edge and surface wear, otherwise near fine. Loosely enclosed, brief correspondence between the author and the former owner regarding the book (no signature)..
