Very good copy of Cooke's edition, two volumes in one, embellished with superb engravings, no. 17, Paternofter-Row, printed and folded by Bookfellers in Town and Country. Engravings dated 1793, date unstated on title or copyright page. Full calf leather in excellent condition, hinges and text intact & tight. Some soiling visible on floral endpapers, with notes written in pencil by previous owner on front flyleaf, and previous owner inscription on read pastedown. Some age-related toning to pages. Bumps and minor rubbing visible along corners, boards, and head of spine, otherwise tight & clean.
