LONDON: HUTCHINSON AND CO, 1898. Hardcover. FAIR TO GOOD/No Jacket. Boards lightly rubbed, spine darkened, with a closed tear to the cloth on the spine from the heel to about a quarter the way up. Pages lightly foxed. Pencil inscription on front free endpaper reading "This is supposed to be written by the marine who shot Lord Nelson at Trafalgar! 1898" which has also been underlined in the preface. Otherwise clean throughout. Good to very good.
