George Routledge and Co., 1857. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1857. New Edition. 492 pages. Half bound brown leather with marbled paper covered boards with lettering. Hinges are heavily cracked with exposed netting. Clean pages with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. Ownership plate stuck to front pastedown. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Minor sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Lettering is darkened. Heavy peeling and splits to spine and corners. Heavy scuffing to boards. Visible wear marks to boards.
