About This Item

New York: Charles Scribner's Sons. Very Good+. 1907. 6th Edition. Hardcover. 297 pp; This is a great book with light edgewear, a small dampstain at top rear, and cover illustration is lightly rubbed. Interior has 1in tear at inside front hinge, previous owner's name on ffep, pencil notes on fly, and first 80 pages have occasional pencil marginalia. Still an attractive book however with a solid binding, all edge gilt, and a tight text. Includes index. Elwell outlines the various forms of attack and defense used by the best players and gives attention to the dummy hand, trumps, and all underlying principles with complete play of selected hands.; Always Delivery Confirmation. 35 Years Fast Excellent Service.
