Macmillan, 1961. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1961. First Edition. 559 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over blue cloth. Contains black and white photographic plates. Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Ink crossings-out on front end papers and title page. Heavy cracking to rear hinge with exposed binding, causing board to be loose. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Book is slightly forward leaning. Unclipped jacket has moderate edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Scuffing and light marking overall. Light tanning to spine and edges.
