One of Lovesey's earlier novels featuring the Victorian era detective Sergeant Daniel Cribb and his assistant Constable Thackeray. Peter Lovesey is a British author of historical and contemporary detective novels. In the original publisher's cloth binding and unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, excellent. There is some slight wear to the extremities and a few small creases. To the binding, there is some slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some very light age toning. Near Fine
