First edition with no other printings listed. Some mild uneven toning to spine of jacket, with some light toning and light soil to other panels. Light bumping to spine ends, with some wear to paper on very bottom edge of rear board. Moderate age toning to edges of text block. Signed and inscribed in black by author on front free endpaper: "Berkeley / June 2, 1967 / Stan: / Regards. Enjoy it. And / write your own. / Shalom! / Chester Aaron". Interior otherwise clean and unmarked. Binding firm. Aaron's first novel which tells the story of a Jewish family living in Pennsylvania during the Great Depression and WWII.. Signed by Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.
