About This Item
The M K Brown Range Life Series, Number One. Written by the wife of Bob Duke, the last manager of the XIT to run cattle. Mrs. Duke was born in 1877. The ranch was the largest ranch under fence in the country, it is in the far northwest part of the Texas Panhandle. The book has 36 pages of b&w archival photos and 3 maps.
