Franckfurt und Leipzig, Johann Albrecht 1727. 8vo. (12), 302 pp + two-page engraved plate. Pages 100-128 misnumbered: 90-118. In contemporary full calf with four raised bands. Extremities with wear, hindges weak and partly split. Internally with miscolouring primarily affecting first and last leaves. Title-page with tear. Exceedingly rare first edition of this compilation of various travel accounts, some of them likely being the first German translations. Megiser published his compilations first in 1613 as 'Septentrio novantiquus' The work contain translations of the following publications: - Blefken, Dithmar.
