A small (9.5 cm x 6.5 cm) 32pp booklet, in 2 sections with (1.) - 'The Laws of the Game of Football' - The Rugby Football Union'; and (2.) - 'The Rugby Football League (hitherto known as The Northern Rugby Football Union) ' . With b/w Diagrams/Plans. Red and white paper wrappers, the whole booklet is 'cut/published' slightly off-skew - rubbed, grubby, with the single staple rusted, mainly only affecting the gutter. The inside of the covers/edges have some light spotting/patching, o/w internally quite clean with a few spots here and there. A former owner's name and location, etc, written around the edges of the front cover. ** NB - Former owner put the date 1927 on the front cover, and the detail re the name "Northern Rugby Football Union" - might date it for someone?
