Red cloth very slightly soiled, gilt embossed title and author with gilt illustration at top front near fine, gilt very good on spine, inside covers and adjacent end papers maps of Northeast and Central colonies. Label for Brentano's of New York City at bottom of inside back cover. 323 lightly browned pages, foxing to early and final papers. Slight wear to tips and spine edges as well as long spine left edge. Facsimile of President Coolidge's address on Washington's Birthday, February 22, 1927. Light cursive stamp of owner on first front end paper and title page. Light scratch at bottom back. Near Good.
