One of the most important scholarly books ever published on the cattle trade & cattle trailing industry of the Great Plains. Dale was named by Oklahoma Today as one of the 46 most important greatest thinkers in Oklahoma history. The endpapers are a dramatic art deco presentation of some cattle brands. A good+, tight copy. Spine faded. Cover edges somewhat faded where sun burned. Hinges professionally repaired. The text block is crisp & fine. Rader 1036, Howes D20, Reese 27, Herd 639, Rader 1036.
