About This Item
Bloomington: Indiana University Pdress Book. Very Good. Hardcover. (1976), 4to, ix, 121pp, many drawings in the text of frontier tools and farming implements. Designed and illustrated by Bruce Rogers, with an introduction by R. E. Banta. There is a note and a letter laid in from Indiana University Press to William E. Wilson, who was Superintendent of Public Instruction for the State of Indiana. A beautiful, well made book in VG condition, but for a slight bowing of the covers. Life in frontier Indiana as told by a man who was born in what is today Perry County, Indiana, in 1873, and whose ancestors had been among the first settlers in that region..
