This Canadian Native American wrestlers, known as "Marvelous Mohawk," was one of the greatest box office attractions of the early days of televised wrestling; he won the best-of-three-falls AWA World title in 1950, but had it taken away three days later in a controversial incident during a match with Gorgeous George; he died at age 41 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, an apparent suicide. The Monument had been largely the ranch of the actress, Greer Garson and her husband Col. E.E. 'Buddy' Fogelson. In the introduction the book is dedicated to the couple with biographies of each of them. Col. Fogelson died a year prior to the book's publication. The laid in note is on Ms. Garson's stationary and is addressed to John and Laura Roach. This couple were longtime friends and Mr. Roach was the attorney for the E. E. Fogelson and Greer Garson Fogelson Foundation. The note is signed "Much love, as always, Greer". Also laid in is an envelope with a negative of a photograph of Ms. Garson, in a gown, in front of a Christmas tree. The book has a bump on the bottom front corner, otherwise excellent. The cover has a paste down photograph of Fonda and Dana as the characters Charles and Nancy Grey. The book has bumped corners and a divot on the top back cover. The pages are evenly toned and are clean and unmarked. The binding is tight and appears to be unread. Henry Fonda and Leora Dana have signed on the front free end page (no inscription).
