Catalogue of the first commercial exhibition of Andy Warhol paintings in mainland China. Warhol's silkscreen and acrylic "Athletes" and portraits in an exhibition that was to take place at the Faurschou Beijing gallery during the 2008 Olympics in China. Government censors at first banned this show; not clear to me if it was postponed or canceled entirely. Catalog includes Warhol portraits of Wilie Shoemaker, Muhammad Ali, Jack Nicklaus, Chris Evert, Tom Seaver, Dorothy Hamill, and more. Jennifer Vorbach curated the show.
