1956. Signed & Inscribed Original Photo by Ernest Hemingway to front of photograph: "Congratulations and best wishes, Ernest Hemingway (56)". Additional inscription below this; likely by one of the Cumbancheros who performed at celebration in honor of the Nobel Prize winning author for 'The Old Man and The Sea'. Hemingway resided at Finca Vigia or "Lookout Farm", his estate in Cuba which is now a museum, from 1939-1960. An original photograph from Cuban journalist Fernando G. Campoamor's library with his personal stamp at back: "BIBLIOTECA DE FERNANDO G. CAMPOAMOR. Presented n fine wood frame. This broadside is folded creating four pages of print and once more in half at apprx. 11" x 17". Most commonly attributed as the third ever authorized printing - first with Poe's final revision - of the infamous lyrical poem of everlasting acclaim. The Raven appears in its entirety printed on page four and is the first publication in its final form as requested by Poe. Some areas of light fox and small bio-predation from the ever-classic "bookworm". Six inch mended tear on edge with acid-free document repair adhesive.
