Cresset Press, London, 1952. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. The first UK edition (first printing). 8vo. 124pp. Red boards lettered in gold at the spine. Fly-leaves a little browned with some light spotting to the fore edge. A very good copy in slightly dusty non-price-clipped dust wrapper, lightly tanned at the spine panel and dust soiled at the rear panel. A series of witty fictional letters from Pal Joey ("the poor man's Bing Crosby") to Friend Ted, a prosperous New York bandleader, all of which were originally printed in 'The New Yorker'..
