Zebedy Colt was an actor/director who performed on Broadway and the RSC under the name Edward Earl and had another career as a gay pornstar and director (he also appeared in the straight porn "Story of Joanna") The orchestra for the recording was the London Philharmonic! (uncredited).

San Francisco: Tram Records T-5001, 1969. First Edition. First Edition. 33-1/3 RPM vinyl LP in original inner and outer sleeve. Cover design by Richard Frey. A collection of stage musical favorites sung by Colt, written by greats such as Leonard Berstein, Stephen Sondheim, Billy Strayhorn, Rodgers and Hart, Cole Porter, and Ira and George Gershwin. Oddities in the selections include three songs by Zebedy Colt under his given name Edward Earle (he was born Edward Earle Marsh), and two songs that had a rough road to success: "Bill" by P.G. Wodehouse and Jerome Kern, and "The Man I Love" by the Gershwins. With brief liner notes on the rear panel by Colt. Though uncredited, the orchestra for the recording was the London Philharmonic. The LP was released simultaneously in the UK under the title "I'll Sing for You."
