Bernhard Tauchnitz, 1856. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1856. Author's Edition. 452 pages. No dust jacket. Quarter bound leather with marbled paper covered boards. Moderate crinkling to gutters however binding remains firm. Pages are moderately tanned with noticeable foxing. Heavier tanning to free endpapers. Ink stamp inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Heavy peeling to leather spine and corners. Heavy spit to spine. Gilt lettering is darkened.
