Approx. 2 1/4" closed tear to front endpaper of volume 1 w/ tender front hinge. Approx. 1/2" wide x 1" long of black spine label missing from spine of Vol. 2. Illust. w/ b/w plates. Contents nice.. Hard Cover. Good-/No Dust Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
