Do I have to ship internationally?

As an international marketplace, Biblio does require that booksellers ship to international destinations.  You have the ability to customize the default postage rates applied to your orders, and we have created tools for booksellers to adjust postage charges after orders are placed.

Adjust postage defaults by making changes to your shipping matrix. 

You may include any reasonable values in your shipping matrix for postage to the various shipping zones around the world.  Please keep in mind that placing a zero in any postage field of your shipping matrix does not disable shipping options to that zone.  Instead, it effectively offers free shipping to that zone.

We'll be happy to work with you on customizing your shipping matrix, so that you'll get the most accurate default postage rates for each order.  Contact us at for more information about customizing.

Adjust postage charges on orders placed.

If any order will cost more to ship than your default postage rate, you can request additional postage funds using the Adjust charges button in the order details.

If your request for additional postage is rejected by the customer, the order can be canceled so that it does not have a negative impact on your fulfillment rate.  You will also have the option to go ahead and ship the order without the additional postage.

If you wish, you can also use the "Adjust charges" button to reduce postage where your default rate is more than the actual postage cost. 

For very large or heavy books, and multiple volume sets, we recommend that sellers include a note in the listed description which indicates that additional postage may be required to ship.
