What is this username and password in BiblioDirector?

Return to what I was doing

BiblioDirector has a built-in FTP client (program) that it uses to send your inventory updates to Biblio, and to access our database for ISBN auto-fill.

To set up the Built-in FTP client: Go to the "Preferences" tab in BiblioDirector, and enter your Biblio FTP username and password.

The FTP password field in your version of BiblioDirecor may be labeled, "Get Biblio FTP Password". That's because you can click there to have your FTP password automatically filled in.  If you click that button, you'll be directed to enter your bookseller account login password, so that BiblioDirector can retrieve your FTP password from your account information.

If you are already logged into your bookseller menu through the BiblioDirector interface, then the FTP password will be filled in with no other steps.  You certainly don't need to follow any of those steps.  You can simply enter or paste your Biblio FTP password into that field.  The FTP login will automatically be saved.  You do not have to perform any other steps to save it.

Click here for more details about  logging into your BiblioDirect Bookseller account menu using your BiblioDirector program, instead of opening a web browser to access your bookseller account and orders.

Please note, your BiblioDirect bookseller menu login is separate from your FTP login. Your bookseller menu login consists of your account email address and a chosen password.  Your Biblio FTP login consists of a separate username and password.

To view or change your Biblio FTP login information, use the Upload Settings link in your bookseller account.  In the old version of our bookseller menu, you'll find a link to that page inside the box labeled "Add or Edit Inventory".  In the new version, you'll click on "Inventory" at the top of the page.  The Upload Settings link will be in the drop-down menu that appears.

I was delighted with my order and your service. The book arrived in time for the occasion that I needed it for. I was thrilled to be able to find an out-of-print copy.
