How do I use Internet Explorer to upload via FTP?

Internet Explorer has built in support for uploading files via FTP. Follow the instructions below to upload using Internet Explorer:

Please note:If you don't have an FTP account established with /faq_detail.php?faqid=7"> "Change my Upload Settings" tool in your Biblio Direct menu. If you are behind a firewall - you may have trouble using this method.

  1. To connect to Biblio enter the following in the Internet Explorer 'Address' box (indicated by the red hand below) and press Enter:
    ftp://yourusername@ftp.Biblio.com


  2. Enter your password when prompted.

  3. Once you are logged in, open the folder (B, below) on the hard disk where your upload file is located.

  4. Position the folder window (B) so you can see both it and the Internet Explorer (A) window.

  5. Simply drag and drop the file you wish to upload into the Internet Explorer window (from B to A, below).
