How do I use Internet Explorer 9 to send files to Biblio via FTP?

Return to what I was doing

Most recent versions of Internet Explorer have easy, built-in FTP options.

For Internet Explorer 9:

Before getting started, make sure that you have already setup your Biblio FTP account by either using the bookseller-support@biblio.com.

Once you have your Biblio FTP username and password,

Type this addres  into your Explorer's address bar:

ftp.biblio.com

You should see a popup window asking you to provide your user name and password:

After you've put your user name and password in, your Internet Explorer will give you instructions on how to switch to FTP mode (click the Alt key, and from the View menu, select "Open FTP SIte in Windows Explorer")

You will need to put your user name and password in again in the next pop-up window.

You can now simply drag the file or folder from your computer to the white space in the window that opens to transfer from your computer to Biblio.  The time it takes for the transfer to complete will depend on both your internet connection speed and the size and number of files you are sending.

For Internet Explorer version 8, the steps are very similar. The specific instructions are available from the microsoft website here:

I was delighted with my order and your service. The book arrived in time for the occasion that I needed it for. I was thrilled to be able to find an out-of-print copy.
