This beautiful sepia tone 8 x 14 inch lithograph, is a portrait of Alice Roosevelt originally taken in 1903, by Frances B. Johnston. Printed by the American Lithographing Co. commemorating the social event of the season, her wedding was attended by thousands, with thousands more showing up to get a glimpse of the bride.Alice was the eldest daughter of President Teddy Roosevelt. She married Nicholas Longworth III, 14 years her senior, a Republican U.S. House of Representatives from Cincinnati, Ohio, who became Speaker of the House. See Photos
