1695 Vossius on Barbarian Language & Grammar Glossary Vocabulary Dictionary RAREGerardus Vossius was a 16th-century Dutch classical theologian known for being one of the first to treat theological dogmas and non-Christian religions from a historical point of view, rather than the more accepted theological. His works of rhetoric were widely popular and were used as textbooks during and after his life. He followed Aristotelian thought and was influenced, not only by Aristotle, but by Cicero and other ancient philosophers.
This 1695 edition of Vossius's rhetorical works includes his 'Artis Grammatica', grammar glossary, and commentary on speeches and orations.
