About This Item
London: L.R.D. / Labour Research Dept. / L.R.D. Publications Ltd, 1962. Pamphlet. 16p., printed self-wraps as a 5.5x4 inch mini-pamphlet; back cover has a crease, other fainter signs of age and handling, but quite sound, clean and unmarked. Early response to the clash, unremarkable content except for being free of the grossest pro-American posturings and fright- mongerings. Neither side had enough booms to be delivered, and the delivering missiles were yet inadequately accurate, which changed 20/25 years later with MIRV'd warheads and Gorbachev. Also changed: the demand for fallout shelters, a strictly 60s phenomenon.
