About This Item
Three Luftwaffe fighter aces of World War Two, all Knight's Cross recipients: Loos flew 66 combat missions and downed 38 enemy aircraft, Romm downed 92 enemy aircraft (82 on the Eastern Front, 10 on the Western Front), and Unger flew 59 combat missions and downed 24 enemy aircraft. PS, 5" X 7", n.p., n.y. Fine. Modern high quality black and white print of a WW2-era photograph of a Luftwaffe fighter plane on the ground, from the front -- nose and propeller in the upper foreground. At top center, above the propeller, Loos signs boldly in blue fineline, while Romm signs at lower left and Unger at lower right, each in black fineline. An interesting trio on an eye-catching image.
